The World at Sybasprinter

They live in a small village called Farndon in Cheshire near the North Wales Coast and have known each other since 1993 and been together since they got their first Siberian

nearly 13  years ago. They are fully committed to the breed and everything it represents in the world they live in today and would describe themselves as guardians of the breed.

They are active members of many organisations throughout the UK, these include the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain (SHCGB) and the Scottish Siberian Husky Club (SSHC) www.scottishshc.org.uk and they regularly attend the events of the British Siberian Husky Racing Association known as BSHRA and run their dogs with the SHCGB and have attended events at the Affiliated British Sleddog Activities (ABSA) www.absasleddogracing.org.uk . (Whose events primarily take part in the South of England.)

They show their dogs at both Open and Championship shows to some degree of success and have achieved to date 1 BOB, 1 CC, 3 RCC’s and 3 Stud Book Numbers to their kennel’s credit. Pauline started judging the breed in 2005 and is currently on the A3 List of both breed clubs. (SHCGB and SSHC.). She has just been approved by the Kennel Club to give her first set of CC’s in 2015. She stillenjoys stewarding and can be regularly found assisting at the judge’s table at shows like Cruft’s, Midland Counties, Welsh Kennel Club and at the Wrexham & District Kennel Society in North Wales.

Hugh prefers to be more actively involved with the working side of the breed but can be seen handling their dogs in the showring. Out of choice he prefers the banter with their friends at events up and down the country and takes great pride in playing an active role in the running of the Pembrey event in the BSHRA calendar and setting up of trails, assisting with the dropping off of marshals and marshalling himself, scrutineering and snubbing duties.

The pair have continued to organise events for BSHRA at Pembrey Country Park, S/Wales. The organisation of this meeting proves very challenging as they live 170 miles away from the forest, thankfully they have a good team of people working with them which assists the smooth running of the event.
